Also known as a "Cup of Sorrows" dated 1896.
Very rare Russian Imperial item. This beaker was
made for the 1896 coronation of Czar Nicholas II
& Alexandra. It is also known as the "Khodinka
Blood Cup, or The Cup of Sorrows".
It is enameled and is dated 1896 and has the
crown on one side, and the Russian crest of
the two headed eagle on the other. It is 4.0" tall,
and 3 3/4 " across the top. Very good condition,
with only one small chip on the bottom, and
some enamel loss to the cup mainly to the rim.
Very unusual to see this item in such good condition.
Rare Imperial Russian antique. Guaranteed original, and authentic.
