Russian Gold enamel pendant .Fully marked with the 56 zolotnik gold
standard. Makers mark partially rubbed.The egg shaped pendant with
suspension loop, enamelled with oyster white translucent enamel over,
a wavy sunburst engine turned ground, the two halves separeted by a
vertical band of yellow gold. Set with a pair of crossed flags of Imperial
Russia and Imperial Navy, and the date 1905,this date was significant in
Russian naval history, because the battle of Thushima took place on
27-28 May 1905.
Condition: minor enamel loss and restoration
