Russian silver cigarette case Art Nouveau style circa 1910. The front cover
decorated with engraved designs and flowers. 84 imperial silver mark
in Moscow, maker's initials CH in cyrillic, (Sergey Nazarov). Gilded
interior, hinge is well preserved, box closes tightly. The case is in overall
good vintage condition but does have small scratches and small dents
from use on both surfaces which do not detract significantly from the
overall appearance and elegance. An interesting and rare example of
Russian Art Nouveau silver work. Size 4 1/4" or 10.5 cm by 2 3/4" or 7 cm.
