Silver Medal for Victory over the Swedes in Finnish Waters awarded to non-commissioned officers and enlisted men of the Russian Army and Navy who were attached to the Baltic Fleet on August 13, 1789, the date of their victory over the Swedish Army and Navy.
The obverse of the silver medal shows the bust of Empress Catherine facing right with the circumscription signifying: "By the grace of God Catherine II Empress and Autocrat of All Russias". On the reverse is the inscription meaning: "For Bravery in Finnish Waters 13 August 1789".
The Diameter is 39 mm.
Ribbon is St. George.
The signature of the engraver: "T. Ivanov" is placed under the bust of the Empress.
