In various years up to and including World War I private funds
were solicited for the benefit of the Air Force.
This Russian Imperial Jetton was instituted on February 3, 1912
with the inscription: "IMPERIAL SPECIAL COMMITTEE FOR THE
STRENGTHENING OF THE AIR FORCE".
This jetton in silver-gilt and pale blue enamel, and marked with
Russian Imperial silver 84 standard.
Size: 30.5 x 22.6mm
Condition: slight enamel damage to the scroll.Original and unique.
