A pair of antique Russian silver tea glass holders. Russian Imperial silver 84 standard, 1896- 1908, maker's initial IP in Cyrillic (Ivan Prokofiev). Intricate Art Nouvuae design of flowers and foliage. The design on two tea glass holders matching, but different. Remnants of the guilded interior. Traditional Pan-Slavic geometric design handles. The set is in excellent original condition with no significant defects or evidence of restoration. Will display beautifully as a pair. Diameter 2 3/4" or 7 cm , hight to the top of the handle 4" or 10 cm. Total weight 6.7oz or 190gram. Rare example of Russian Imperial silver work. Comes from an old time European family estate.
