Fantastic and rare Russian silver and plique-a-jour enamel serving spoon by famous Grachev. Length4 3/4". Moscow, circa 1890. Marked with the 84 silver standard. The four sided handle has enamel work on all four sides and the top. The bowl has transparent enamel work of beautiful colors.
If you hold the spoon to the light you can see through the transparent enamel. The bowl is pierced and filled with vibrantly colored plique-a-jour enamel in floral and foliate motifs.
